April 29th, 2023
8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (PDT)
Hosted on Zoom
We’ve reimagined this year’s spring conference to provide participants with more opportunities to learn together and make headway on their existing efforts. Your team will leave with more connections to similar schools, ideas for the year ahead, and inspiring new ideas to try out.
IN THE SCHOOL PROGRAM?
Each 2022-23 School Program team can send up to 10 attendees for free. We highly encourage multi-stakeholder representation on the team including administration, parents, students, counselors, and teachers. Interested in bringing additional team members or having trouble logging in to submit your roster? Reach out to Kristen Edge at email@example.com.
NOT IN THE SCHOOL PROGRAM?
If your school has previously participated in the Challenge Success School Program, you may register for the Spring Conference. Cost is $350 per person. Space is limited.
Times listed in PDT
Conference Liftoff: Fishbowl and Team Collaboration
This opening session will orient and prepare school teams for the day. Using a digital, collaborative tool, teams will actively reflect on the past year and leave with a visual to ground your experience and facilitate co-team engagement and sharing throughout the day.
School Change Gallery Walk
Get ideas of what is possible in the world of school change from peer schools. During this session, individuals from each school will share an example to celebrate their work from this past year including how it affected well-being, belonging, and engagement at their school. Through interactive breakouts including a Gallery Walk of school changes, Q&As in small groups, and share-outs, you’ll leave with fresh ideas for your own community and how to implement them at your school.

Problem Pose – Problem Solve: Leveraging the Collective Wisdom of the Group
In this session, you’ll be grouped with attendees to pose a problem related to your Challenge Success work. You’ll move through a facilitated protocol to answer questions, give context, and receive resources as well as potential solutions that have worked for other group members. At the end of the session, you’ll leave with diverse perspectives and potential solutions to the problem you posed.
12:30 – 1:30pm PDT
Where Do We Go From Here? Touching Down and Taking It Home
In this closing session, teams will have an extended block of time to come back together to share learnings, ideas, and insights from the day. Guidance will be provided for useful next steps and action planning for the work going forward. Near the end of the session, we will all reconvene as a full conference for a special closing and send-off from Challenge Success Co-Founder, Denise Pope.
The conference will be hosted on a platform called Sched. Team leads will recive an email with a request to register your team. All registrants will receive next steps and login information via email.
