A COLLABORATIVE CHANGE PROCESS LED BY CO-DESIGN AND EQUITY

CHALLENGE SUCCESS k-12
SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP

what is the school partnership?

The Challenge Success K-12 School Partnership is not a one-size-fits-all curriculum or a one-off program. It’s a flexible, research-based approach that helps schools and districts make meaningful policy and practice changes that improve student well-being, engagement, and belonging in their local context. Schools and districts that implement changes to their policies and practices see lasting results that benefit countless future students, including:

Reduced stress with more sleep and balance
Increased student agency
Deeper academic engagement
Better teacher support
Less cheating, and more!
three phases of challenge success change process

how does the partnership work?

The School Partnership is anchored in the three-part School Change Process. The first step is assembling a team of educators, families, and students to work alongside a Challenge Success Coach for 12-18 months. Drawing upon 20+ years of research and our S.P.A.C.E. Framework, teams prioritize learning, reflection, and improvement, working towards unique outcomes that reflect their community’s goals. Our process is grounded in our Levers for Change:

Center student voice
Gather and interpret community-voice data
Use research-based, equity-centered strategies

what’s included in your partnership

Schools may choose from a standard partnership, lasting the academic year, or an extended partnership of 18 months with a flexible start date (extended partnership also includes 3 additional virtual coaching sessions and 1 additional on-site visit).

FUNDING FOR STUDENT WELL-BEING, ENGAGEMENT, AND BELONGING

Many schools have accessed state, local, and community funding for youth mental health, professional development, or community engagement to support this work. In addition, Challenge Success strives to offer need-based financial assistance in an effort to support schools and organizations with limited resources. We believe that cost should not be a deterrent to accessing quality programs. To apply, please complete this form. All requests will be reviewed by our Executive Director.
